Thunderstorms are expected to roll into the area Saturday night and linger through early Monday, bringing with them the potential for high winds, hail and isolated tornadoes, according to meteorologists at AccuWeather . “Saturday and Sunday are our highest risk days,” said Dan DePodwin, AccuWeather's Director of Forecasting Operations. “There’s a strong low-pressure system moving into the Southern Plains, which is triggering these storms across North Texas.” Daytime highs will be in the low to mid-70s on Sunday and Monday before warming up later in the week.
